Giving Back

Message from Doreen

Since 2019, we have been intentional about giving back. We did this through our signature seminar - The "You, Work, Love Summit". The idea was to have people share their Branchout stories about self, work and love, to inspire hope in others. However when my sister lost her four year old son - El-Elyon on 27th July 2022, something shifted in me. I realized that we needed to infuse our value of collaboration in our giving back to create greater impact than we envisioned when You, Work, Love Summit was first born. So starting in 2025, we will collaborate with the Elyon Foundation and to give back to our world.

How We Give Back

Capacity Building

Between July and August every year, we will give away four hours of capacity building. These sessions will focus on skill development for leaders in small and medium scale enterprises across Africa.

Smile Igniters

We will recruit friends and family to participate in acts of kindness to ignite smiles in others every 27th of July. We do this to keep Elyon's legacy of gifting thumbs up and smiles to others.

Coaching

Our professional coaches give twelve pro-bono coaching sessions every year. This is to live our value of Stewardship - we will leave our world(s) better than we found it/them.

Make Your Branchout Experience Count

There's an Akan proverb that translate loosely as "someone's story may be the key that opens the door (of solutions) to the issues faced by another". We've observed that our Branchout experiences may be the key to lifting another soul up. So we invite you to be intentional about giving from what you have.
