Well, putting together your baby registry is a great way to get organized. It will help you decide on the essentials you need for your new baby and enable you to keep track of them and enable you to stick to a budget.

There are lots of stores and websites that offer baby registries. One of the benefits of having a baby registry is that you can share it with family, friends and baby shower guests so that they can choose which baby things to buy you as a gift.

The list includes the things to consider when choosing a baby registry, when to start it, how to find the best registry/registries for you, the etiquette to follow and most importantly, what to put on your baby registry.

If they are, then it is absolutely fine to ask for the person organising the baby shower to give details of your baby registry along with the baby shower invite. It is generally frowned upon to put details directly on the invite.

Whilst I hope this ultimate baby registry checklist post has been super useful, nothing beats talking to other moms or even taking a trip to browse baby products with a mom who is a few months ahead of you.

As we've done in previous years, we like to go through the past year's list and update the baby registry checklist to make sure we are including the most relevant baby registry items because we know how important it is to get the registry right.

Now, there's many places where you can register for baby gifts. When looking around for the best place to create a baby registry, consider the brands they carry, the price point, convenience, ease of use, shipping and other registry benefits. One of our favorite places to create a baby registry is with Amazon.com. They practically carry almost all brands, their prices are competitive, shipping times can't be beat and they have some amazing incentives for creating a baby registry.
