Geoboard Buy

Geoboards are a great educational toy used to develop fine motor skills, strengthen finger muscles, and develop hand-eye coordination. They can be used to form shapes and patterns as well as identify colors, numbers, and letters. Our wooden geoboards encourage creativity and concentration while expanding little minds.

Make a fun math center with these Winter Geoboard Pattern Cards! A geoboard is a great math tool that helps kids learn beginning geometry concepts. It is a physical board with nails or pegs evenly spaced around the board. They were originally made of wood and nails, but now you can buy plastic ones. See how we made our own geoboard. You use rubber bands to create shapes and patterns on the board.

Each card includes the name of the image, the picture of the image to create on the geoboard, a place to write/trace the word, and then two questions: How many rubber bands did you use, and how many squares does your design cover. This helps kids get deeper into the math of the geoboard. You can take it a step further with older kids and talk about the area and perimeter that is covered by the designs.

TOOKYLAND rubber band pattern geoboard includes a wooden board with pins, 48 rubber bands of various colours, and 40 pattern cards. The game consists of creating different patterns on the wooden pinboard with the coloured rubber bands by either using the pattern cards for inspiration or by creating your own images. This toy allows the natural development of the child's basic skills through a fun activity that will pique their curiosity. The pattern cards come in three difficulty levels indicated at the top of each card. The number and colours of rubber bands give children endless possibilities of patterns to create, helping them set their imagination free. A source of fun play, this game also helps children develop multiple skills such as creative thinking, motor skills, autonomy, problem-solving, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and even shape and colour recognition. Choking hazard: contains small parts. Not suitable for children under three years old. Dimension: 18 18 2.2 cm (7.09 7.09 0.87 in)

You can easily stretch the activity for kids who are ready for a challenge by giving them the set of harder challenges or simplify it for students who are new to geoboards by pulling out the easier one. 041b061a72
